How to Sign Up for TipLink and Start Receiving Tips

Step 1: Sign Up for TipLink Dashboard

  1. Click the “Join TipLink”, “Start Free Month”, or “Join TipLink Now” button anywhere on the website
  2. Enter your email and click Continue
  3. You'll receive a verification code in your inbox – enter it to proceed
  4. Create a strong password (at least 12 characters, with 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 number, and 1 special symbol)
  5. Complete your basic profile:
  • Phone number
  • City / primary working location
  • Upload a profile photo
  • Short bio or thank-you message
  • Select your role or industry (e.g. courier, hospitality, retail, personal services, freelancer, other customer-facing role)

 

Step 2: Apply Your Free Trial Discount

  • At the subscription checkout, enter the code TIPLINK100 and hit ''Apply''
  • This gives you 100% off your first month
  • Submit your subscription to access your personal TipLink Dashboard

Step 3: Connect Your Stripe Account (Secure Payouts)

You’ll now be asked to set up your Stripe account — this is essential, because Stripe is the payment provider that:

  • Processes customer tips
  • Transfers your earnings to your bank account
  • Without Stripe, you cannot receive tips.

Step 4: Secure Your Stripe Account

  1. For security, Stripe will require 2-step verification
  2. Download the Google Authenticator app (recommended)
  3. Scan the code provided and enter the 6-digit code from the app

Step 5: Fill Out Stripe Setup Info

  1. Business Type → Select Individual / Sole Trader
  2. Business Location → Choose your country (e.g. United Kingdom)
  3. Industry → Select the closest relevant option (e.g. personal services, customer-facing services)
  4. Website → Enter: https://dashboard.tiplink.co.uk
  5. Description → Example: “Receiving tips from customers via QR code.”

Step 6: Add Your Bank Info

  • Currency: GBP – British Pound
  • Sort Code and Account Number: Enter your bank details
  • Payout Schedule:

You’ll be asked to select your payout schedule:

    • Manual
    • Automatic (select from options)

Tips will appear as pending in your dashboard for 7 days before they can be cashed out to your Stripe account.”

 

Step 7: Final Stripe Setup Details

Check that all details are correct, including:
  • Statement descriptor: Leave as TipLink or DASHBOARD.TIPLINK
  • Customer support phone: Use the phone number TipLink provided or your own
  • Climate commitment: You can skip or select 1% (optional)
  • Review all your details and click Agree and Submit

Step 8: You're All Set!

  • Your TipLink dashboard is now active
  • You can access:
    • Your QR 
    • Tip tracking
    • Payout summary

Download Stripe App

  • You can download the Stripe mobile app to track your balance in real-time
  • Once tips are submitted from your dashboard, you’ll see them in Stripe
  • From the Stripe app, you can manually transfer funds to your bank account anytime (if manual payout selected), or wait for automated payout
