How It Works

1. Join TipLink

Sign up in seconds using your email.

We’ll create your personal TipLink dashboard, where you can manage your profile, recognition, and tips.

During setup, you’ll be prompted to connect Stripe so you can securely receive payouts directly to your bank.

2. Your TipLink Dashboard

Once your account is active and Stripe is connected, you’ll have access to your private dashboard where you can:

  • Track tips and recognition in real time
  • View customer names and messages (when they choose to leave them)
  • Personalise your page with a profile photo and short bio
  • Withdraw earnings (full or custom amounts)
  • View your personal digital QR, or order printed QR TipCards with a pre-set message 
  • Export tip history as a CSV for tax and record-keeping purposes

3. Get Your QR code (Digital or Card)

Once your account is set up:

We generate your unique QR code linked to your personal TipLink page.

You can display your QR digitally (on your phone, email signature, badge, or screen), or choose to order printed TipCards if suitable for your role.

Each QR links customers to a simple message such as:
“Enjoyed the service? Scan to say thanks.”
“Appreciate good service? Let me know.”
“Scan to recognise great service.”

4. Go About Your Work as Usual

There’s no need for awkward conversations or explanations.

Simply make your TipCard visible or share it naturally.
Customers choose whether or not to scan — there’s no pressure or expectation.

5. Customers Recognise or Tip You Instantly

When customers scan your QR code, they land on your personal TipLink page — no app download or account required.

They can:

  • Leave recognition or a tip instantly
  • Add their name (optional)
  • Write a personal message (optional)
  • Choose whether to cover Stripe’s card processing fee

You’ll receive notifications when recognition or tips come in.

6. Withdraw Anytime

All earnings are processed securely via Stripe.

  • Tips appear as pending during Stripe’s standard settlement period
  • After settlement, you can withdraw daily, weekly, or whenever you choose
  • Stripe typically pays out to your bank within 1–2 business days

You remain fully in control of your earnings at all times.
